Family Pictures!

Hey Everyone,
This past Monday we took our family pictures this really cool building in Ephrata. I think that it used to be an old mill. Anyway, Dad was not particularly thrilled about the idea of having to take pictures, but my sister Sonya leaves for college on Saturday, and isn't home until Christmas. So, to make sure that she is on our Christmas card picture we needed to take pictures before she leaves. I was really happy with the way we coordinated, although I am sure that other family's could beat our coordination. :) Here is a few of my favorite pictures!

My dad makes a great photo bomber! :)
The funniest part about this picture is that we didn't even try it.

Like I said before, photo bomber! :)

Randomness at its best!

Hello all! I have another "random" post for you! =)

I crocheted this little hat for Aisha yesterday, and I was tickled with the results!

School started again at this house! And I am ready for the challenges that 10th grade will bring!
(Believe me these aren't even half of my books!)

We know have 9 cats at this house! 3 Mama's and 6 kittens! So, if you know of anyone
that might want 1, (or 2 or 3!) please let me know! =)

Corny Days

I have never enjoyed garden work, so hats of to you who like to get muddy! But if it takes doing corn to have a blast with family! I am all for it!! Oh, and it helps when your little cousins are there so you can more or less "babysit." :) So, last Thursday (yes, I know this post is late) August 10th we packed up and headed to my grandparents to help with their corn.  A little bit after my aunt and cousins got there my great grandparents, to my surprise, arrived. The work went way faster than expected, so I guess it is true, many hands make work light.  Then we got to eat corn on the cob for lunch, that is always a plus. ~Panda

Old Fashioned paper-dolls are always fun, right? :)

Hammock

The other day dad got a hammock for us kids!!! I have always wanted a hammock, so I could lay in it on lazy Sunday afternoons, and read, like the kids so often did in my books! And now I have one! =)
FYI: The little girl with Autumn is our cousin who we were babysitting. =)

Remodle

Our family had been working very hard these last 2 weeks on mom and dads bedroom. Since it was real wood boards, we had to sand it, (which we did by using a sander deglosser) primer it, fill the knotholes, and finally we gave it at least 3 coats of paint. (We have some indecisive people in our family.) Then the carpet came a few days early, so we had to quick get all the furniture out, and clean everything. And then we could start moving the room back together again! It was quite a process, but well worth the work, because the end product looked amazing!!!

                                                                         Before
Sarah and Timothy helped out a lot while they were up for a week!
And the "pretty much finished product"! We just need to work
on the bookshelf a little and move the dresser back in. =)

Love, Riah

Class Party

Okay, so as I said before, I love school!  But the reason that I love school is because I have an AMAZING class! They have made my school days so much brighter. From lame and hilarious puns to rubber band wars during class. Now of course I never participated in the wars, I was just greatly entertained and sometimes aided the entertainment. :)
At the class party, hosted by Miss Rutt, we enjoyed hot dogs over a fire (that didn't burn very well, because of wet wood), volleyball, Spikeball, ultimate Frisbee, and an outdoor movie.  After being with my class once more this summer, I am anticipating school WAY more than I was before (and I was already way too excited). :) My fantastic class of 2020 (coolest year to graduate) gets along really well together, and even though we have our cliques, as soon as we make the effort to break out of them, we all get along great! So, to my class, thanks so much for making school AWESOME! :) Sorry about the quality of the pictures, but at least you can get the idea. :)

Malachi comes to Visit

Sarah, Timothy, and Malachi, came up to PA from last Thursday, to this coming Saturday. Us kids had a blast holding Malachi, and trying to get a smile out of him, showing him our many cats and Blackie, and trying to win his little heart! I can't wait till I get to see him again in Oct.!

Jack, Bob, & Princess

During the last week of July I spent a whole five days in New York City with my cousins.  Okay so they moved up there like a year ago, and I really miss them, like A LOT!! Anyway my grandma, aunt, Mom, and cousins went up on a Monday to drop me off.  Then they left and I spent the next four days in Brooklyn, New York! I enjoy photography so I took the opportunity to take pictures of Jack, Bob, and Princess. The boys weren't exactly thrilled about pictures, but Princess, well, that was a whole other story! :) We walked around the city finding cool spots to take a city shot. :) So, here are some pictures of my nothing less than adorable cousins.  Love, Panda
