I know that it's been a while. I have been super busy, but it has been a lot of fun stuff so that always helps.
With my gym class, we play other Mennonite schools in the area, such as Faith Mennonite High School, Terre Hill Mennonite High School, and Scheafferstown Mennonite High School. Unfortunately, Ephrata hasn't won too many games, but hey, that's okay! It's not all about winning! I have seriously been trying to work on my competitive attitude. We just started volleyball practice, and haven't had any games yet. The 10th graders just had another basketball game against the 10th graders at FMH. The girls lost by ONE point, and I think that the guys lost by two, but I could be wrong on that. Let's just say it was a fun evening matched with good competition. It is so important to remember who we are playing for; not ourselves, not our school, not even our team, but we need to play for Jesus! This always helps me have a better attitude after losing. On the way back to school after the games, the air pressure on the bus got too low, which means that the breaks won't work right, and so the bus stops and won't go anywhere. This isn't exactly a good thing, but when your with like 20 other students that are willing to make the best of it, it's not so bad. :) It was an experience I won't forget! I can't wait for another year full of memories and games!
