Easter Reflections

Okay, and I'm sorry, this is so much! But coming off of Easter, I'm going to look back and reflect on what Jesus actually did on the cross.  Too often I think that the cross is taken so lightly, its so many places, people wear cross necklaces, there is inspirational quotes with crosses on them (which I don't think is wrong), and crosses show up so many other places, but the cross is a symbol of torcher and death.  Jesus was killed for the sins of the world.  I can't imagine what agony he must have gone through, to the extent that the Bible says his sweat came like great drops of blood! I love Easter, and the reminder of newness of life that it brings! Sunrise services are so cool, and I am once again amazed at the Easter story! I am so thankful for what Jesus did, and what he went through for me, my sins, and the rest of the world.  To think that he suffered so much for each and every person is incredible! "Hallelujah for the cross!" Going back to thinking about the cross being a symbol of torcher, what does it mean for a Christian to deny themselves and take up there cross? Just something to think about. :)
Once again, sorry for the overload of blog posts, but that's probably going to be it for a while, at least from me.  For those of you who like to follow blogs, check out: http://emsministryartsteam.blogspot.com/.  Friday Ephrata Mennonite School's Ministry Arts Team is headed up north on tour. So if your curious you can check out our blog. :)  Bye for now! ~ Panda

For Funnies!

Okay, I love amusing myself with quotes, and these are a few that just cracked me up! :) Yeah, a few are a little late now, but hey, it doesn't hurt to laugh at them. ~ Panda

Life Lately

Okay, so I know this is the second blog post from me in one day, and that's actually kinda sad, but I finally have time to sit down and catch you all up (there might be more coming too, brace yourself)! So here are just a bunch of fun random pictures...and yes, my friends are fantastic at taking ussies on my phone.  I don't really have social media, so I can't embarrass them that way (or really get back at them on their birthdays) but, I guess posting them here is my best shot. :) Hope you all aren't too bored out of your mind. :) ~Panda

Academic Fair (which was actually in February): When you look at the two picture above, take notice...I'm with two different people. ;) Yes, they look alike, but the one is my cousin, and the other isn't :)

Class Cabin Weekend

Hello All,
I'm sorry it's been so long! Now it is time to play blog catch-up. ;) This past weekend, April 6-8, my amazing 10th grade class went to the cabin.  Unfortunately only 12 of us out of 17 could make it, but I'm pretty sure we would all agree that it was still a BLAST! We traveled up right after school and stopped for supper on the way at some for pizza joint, but it was good! :) When we FINALLY reached the cabin we unpacked and played Frisbee, which we did a decent amount.  The weekend also consisted of, hiking/walks in the woods, Spikeball, Quem & Shmeck (a card game, and I have no idea how to spell that;) and some deep discussions.  This blog post is going to have an overload of pictures, because when 12 different students have access to the camera, you get a bunch of different pictures and perspectives! Thanks to my class for being amazing, fun, honest, and respectful! Class of 2020 HERE WE COME! :) ~Panda
