Okay, and I'm sorry, this is so much! But coming off of Easter, I'm going to look back and reflect on what Jesus actually did on the cross. Too often I think that the cross is taken so lightly, its so many places, people wear cross necklaces, there is inspirational quotes with crosses on them (which I don't think is wrong), and crosses show up so many other places, but the cross is a symbol of torcher and death. Jesus was killed for the sins of the world. I can't imagine what agony he must have gone through, to the extent that the Bible says his sweat came like great drops of blood! I love Easter, and the reminder of newness of life that it brings! Sunrise services are so cool, and I am once again amazed at the Easter story! I am so thankful for what Jesus did, and what he went through for me, my sins, and the rest of the world. To think that he suffered so much for each and every person is incredible! "Hallelujah for the cross!" Going back to thinking about the cross being a symbol of torcher, what does it mean for a Christian to deny themselves and take up there cross? Just something to think about. :)
